This Staff Working Document evaluates the Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) Programme and the European Progress Microfinance Facility (EPMF), assessing their impact on employment, social inclusion, and access to finance across Europe. It highlights how EaSI supported policymaking, labour mobility, and inclusive finance through its three pillars, while EPMF expanded microcredit access for vulnerable groups and microenterprises. The evaluation identifies achievements, lessons learned, and areas for improvement, informing the design of future EU programmes aimed at strengthening social inclusion and inclusive economic growth.
